cupidity amy in red a jason w seem-and-look-a-like showed up at the tutoring center with a carl sagan inspired textbook (the same one which i recently purchased to, say, research, and not necessarily indoctrinate myself with) needing some sort of half an hour of help with it, maybe not today, but sometime in the near future. i had a nice little chat with him, and directed him to my co-worker, tom. and another item worth noting, or nothing, is that among all the stuff on my floor, the cat chose the Pale King book to puke on top of. the jacket is now removed and puke rubbed off the edges of the pages. i worry that we pull energy away from President's Day but it IS pretty hard to piece together why it actually is a requirement to celebrate? am i too cynical and conveniently bitter or what? everybody seems way too young for me, lately.
