megadeth

Huge line filled with testastarone. It was crazy being one of the only women in a concert filled with metal guys. You know the type. Huge dudes with crazy hair wearing skulls on their black T-shirts. I was front and center with maybe five bodies seperating me from the stage. Then came the first song and a mosh pit erupted all around me. Jolted to the left, to the right, back and front. All around me there were a bunch of big dudes ready to kick some ass. Finally I got a big enough push to send me flying into some guy who picked me up and I made my way towards the bag. My moshing days have long since past. So I stood near the back headbanging and going crazy. Back to my roots. I felt as if this is where I belonged. Not at some elitest college. For the first time in a long time, I finally felt at peace. Peace is a strange thing to feel at a heavy metal concert. Or maybe that was just the contact buzz... either way the concert gave me something I desperately needed. Warm fuzzies if you will.
