My heart breaks from your inattention -

is not [nearly] enough to keep my yearnings satiated.

Would it be wrong,
(I wonder [do we both wonder?])
to do [what feels right]
to follow [what we {I} feel]?

I can't shake
::the thought of you::
Can't keep from hoping
for [more than]
::a glance
a smile::
a [fleeting] fascinating

(You've had my attention [for awhile now])
Will you sate my hunger
[for yours]?
Can you {we} be wrong
(in our rightness)?
Are we [both] willing to take that chance -
(to risk [so] much) to follow our
instincts?
Are not instincts what make us ::human::
[what keep us ::fresh new breathing alive::]?
Am I {are you} willing?
Are you {am I} able?
[to ::cross that line::]
