kicking & screaming, you'll take me to Zion. eight thousand miles away she'll think of you &, after my disposal, you'll return to the correct advantage of your demeanor. & although i'll shake like an earthquake to disrupt your bridge, flip it & rattle it's extentions, you will stretch strong & defy my vocation. if you step into my office, i will lose everything. how it already churns me to imagine blue veins muffled & rumbling in contemporary architecture (you swear it's ancient, but i have a degree) by some other riverbank delta whose waters scream under your freefall. compliments burning into my frontal lobe. i cannot clear my homefront. you'll need a permit for that. i'm in robot mode autopilot. zombie death mask. manifesting our loosely bound strings to a phone cord & a distant voice calling me for a stupid answer to a stupid question. what lies beneath the surface? nobody knows. but the water flows just the same, eternal & unforgiving. change is the only constant in the universe, i tell you. let me tell you something. my people have been here for thirty thousand years & i only shoot with my camera. me too, i think, & realize i'm not thinking about you for a moment
