tender_square i wish i wasn't so reliant on it; at the end of the day, it's no so much better than it's free counterpart. "lithium" rotates through grunge songs i've heard a million times with little variation. "xmu" still surprises with old indie tracks and new artists i didn't expect to like, songs that make me feel current though i'm getting old. "classic vinyl" makes me miss my dad's records that he handed down to me, and it's become the soundtrack to our hangouts, points of conversation about his past. i use the service in the car constantly; sometimes it stinks, most times its decent, sometimes it's really fucking great. i didn't realize i was paying for a package that was too robust, with sports channels and howard stern, news that i don't listen to. so, i downgraded and lost the digital-only channels i rely on at home when listening through my phone. i'm in withdraw over what i'm missing, but there's no way am i forking over another $15 just for those stations when there are others i can explore. 230222
