epitome of incomprehensibility Fixed two little things today: a tear in a hat and a dress strap that had come off.

Halfway through the first job, I thought, "Hey, this is relaxing! Why didn't I do this before?" ...and just then I accidentally tied a knot in the string and it wouldn't go through.

raze somehow i knew how to do this as a child, but the skill slipped away not long after i learned it. i don't know who taught me. i know it wasn't my mother. i made something for her one year for mother's_day. words of love threaded through a piece of styrofoam. i think i was six. maybe seven. she kept her gift in the china cabinet for a while. front-facing so everyone could see. then i guess she got tired of looking at it and stuck it somewhere else. basement. attic. bottom of a box or a bag of old clothes. i wonder if she still has it. 241025

e_o_i I never learned how to use a sewing machine. Just basic needle and thread stuff.

I keep think of incorporating this in crafts and then Father Time frowns at me. He suggests I should learn to use a sewing machine even though my actual father discourages me from learning to drive.

I might learn both, but not this year.
