i am having a persistent feeling something sort of stubborn ever since I read underscore_connected_phrases and i think that in the new year since blather is words, bunches of words i'd rather write words, bunches of words rather than phrases upon underscored phrases so i'll just be posting to single words instead for the next year but who knows maybe i'll forget about that if something sparks my interest

(that's perfectly valid. i try to stick to making single-word blathes as much as i can, since there are so many words still unblathed and i like the way they can mean something different to everyone who walks across them. i guess i just liked the idea of taking all these broken links scattered all over the place and slowly bringing them to life.)

My new year's resolution is 7680 × 4320: put the HD in ADHD, I say. But on topic, I like both the no-fuss nature of single-word blathes and the ease of reference multiple-word ones. I mean that with the second, if I put an underscored somewhere it shows that I mean to link it (of course I've made some linkage mistakes that ended up on "unblathed"). So that part I like. But I can also put a word in quotation marks for a similar effect: e.g. my resolution is to make some blathes with "unblathed" prompts as well as unblathed words. (Quotation mark distinguishing intended linkage from happenstance linkage. I mean, no one else has to do it like that but it works for me.)

Correction: the list of unblathed potential blathes is in "prompts" - but yes.

I used to make that resolution joke every year, e_o_i. That or when people would ask me what my new years resolution was, I would say "we talking print, or digital" which always got a groan from fellow designers on my team.

I am slow! This was the first year I thought of it. Though puns with ADHD (AD/HD?) are old for me, as is my silly HD the poet = High Definition. ...The first Imagist should be high definition, I think. Ezra Pound first called her that; they were also a couple for a while. Talk about toxic exes! ... I'll check whether we have resolutions. Do we? Should I create it?
