new_health_card raze it came in the mail yesterday, with instructions to care for it as if it were a living thing. as if it had feelings. a quadrilateral key that unlocks this province's health care system. it's green like the last one was, with a silver blossom in the top right corner that looks like a strange faceless bird taking flight. i wish i could compare it to its predecessor. the woman who helped me make this card kept the old one and cut it into pieces. there's less of me for the camera to capture now. my beard is nowhere near the biblical bush it was a few years ago, though i've been letting it go a little. i looked angry the last time around. i guess i was. i guess i still am. but this time i look equal parts baffled and bemused. i wonder what my face will have to say to a stranger in another four years and five months. 230325 what's it to you? who go blather from
