lookingbacktyl my old high school art class was in a former chemistry lab. a nice shift in priorities, i thought. though science was always good fun too. there were heaps upon heaps of old issues of national geographic stuffed floor to ceiling in that room, as well as others (but those weren't my art rooms), for the purposes of collage and reference and all that jazz. i plastered the wall of my room, my locker and my mind with their stories and images of frogs escaping the jaws of caimans, tribes tanning hides by some murky river and stuff of that sort. now, all i've got left is a silly psychedelic painting over Ben Franklin's face. i wonder where the others went.. 131203
