epitome of incomprehensibility

I'm wondering if I should get some for a first-aid kit. It's the medication in brands such as Narcan that blocks opioid absorption. From what I read, it's easy to use - you just spray it in someone's nostril - but you should still call emergency services after, even if they regain consciousness/alertness right away. (The drug itself isn't that dangerous, but the person could have withdrawal symptoms, and/or there may be enough opioids in their system to make them overdose again when the naloxone wears off.) But how much is this a priority? I don't usually go places where people might overdose. I mean, it could happen anywhere, but still. Maybe this is just because I read an article about an 18-year-old who died of a preventable fentanyl overdose. And now I'm overdramatic, imagining that my Be Useful to Society task is to save someone's life instead of just getting my own shit together. Or doing small things, like providing a bandage for my dad when we were out on a dog walk and his sandal was giving him a blister. As for getting shit together: I also need more bandages.
