hey_there_gary_busey raze riddled as the film is with inaccuracies, you were spot-on in "the buddy holly story", long before you kind of lost your mind and took to snorting cocaine off of dogs and making acronyms out of everything. 141216 ... jane gary busey as buddy holly is what made him want to be a musician. i'm so glad that flick exists. 141217 ... raze when we watched the movie together, he thought maria richwine looked like a friend he wanted as more than a friend. she didn't really want him as anything, but she kept him around because he was convenient. he could drive her places. he could move a couch for her and throw out his shoulder. he could go home and dig his fingers into the torn ligaments and tell himself he was proving his worth by earning scars he couldn't see. "doesn't she look just like her?" he kept saying. and she did look like her a little. not a lot. but sometimes you see the face of the person you love in every face that has even a bit of them in it, so you're always near them. and maybe them not knowing you're there is part of the point. you can walk around inside some hope that was never yours. you can see how it fits. and you can tell yourself you'll get those pants taken in tomorrow, and you'll grow into what's loose in the shoulders any day now. 210908 what's it to you? who go blather from
