it's strange how your image has faded with the passage of time, but it's still you i see....

epitome of incomprehensibility Just a little, but enough to impart intermittent worry: why am I falling apart, eyes first?

At the ends of my vision - distance, the tiny - all is a little fuzzed. Trouble focusing, this time more literal than usual.

I noticed when I got the new lenses that my long-distance vision might be sharper, but I was going to another country in a few days and it wasn't the worst of my worries.

Now I should push myself to do something before September. These glasses have a one-year warranty, so I may get a discount on the cost of changing lenses, but I think I'll have to pay for the new eye exam in full, so I've been dragging my feet. Boring prosaic plodding things, but they do plod if prodded.

tender_square there are times the world looks like it's underwater, blurred and smeared. and i have to blink, blink, blink for the frame to come into focus, for the parts of the scene to slide into crisp definition. this is what getting older does to your vision, my mother tells me. 230813
