anticipation
silentbob why do songs make waiting harder? 020904

once again I'd like to live in anticipation. I'd want each breath to be a gasping in. I think that if my body could stand to live in that passionate peace, certain of fullfillment, but not just yet, that it would be the greatest joy I could ever feel.

I'd like to desire, with that sacred burning pain, the unobtainable. I'd like to be teased into a blissful state of awareness. But when my bod was breaking and my soul was moments from collapse I would like to be rescued.

To be saved from death by fullfillment is a glory that could only be surpassed by first living in that breaking burning flash of constant and pressing anticipation.

raze maybe there's a burnout stage. like getting overtired. you know something's coming, and you look forward to it and dread it in amounts near enough to being identical that one cancels the other out, and what you're left with is a muted thump thump thump hey hey hey you can't always get what you want when you want but if you try sometimes you just might find you can wait until it shows up but what are you feeling while you're waiting and what are you gonna do when it does show up?

i'd offer it something to drink. it's bound to be thirsty after coming all that way.
