nr it's the same-old thing that people apparently do often that it's on tv shows and movies and whatnot.

there's one person who is smart, kind, considerate, reliable, has similar interests, and legitimately likes spending time with you and makes plans to do so.

there's another person who's smart, kind, selfish, flaky, has a few but not many similar interests, possibly legitimately likes spending time with you but has issues and tends to disappear.

why is it that the second person is always the one you have the stronger connection with and the one you're more attracted to? it's weird because i like these people before i see their confusing sides, so it's not that i'm attracted to that (i'm really not), but i wonder if there's something about these people's personalities that gets me. independence, maybe.

nr *that apparently people do often enough
is what i meant to say.

it happened on buffy. sex and the city. gilmore girls. people (fictional and non) are just more attracted to some kind of mystery or another similar quality in people.

i wish it wasn't like that. i wish i could stop.
