but this is a kind of a spicy that burns the lips without doing much for the tastebuds. i didn't have any garlic in the house.


the next time, i'm gonna make buttered noodles instead of rice. add some garlic, and some sour cream. i found the recipes on vegan websites. central european food needs animal fat to be authentic.

the chicken paprikash i had in budapest was one of the best meals of my life. simple, but so tasty i can still remember it nine years later. and it was totally the chicken fat and the dollop of sour cream that made it. aaahhhh, tasty stewed goodness.
