Knowing that she is looking forward to seeing me again; confident in the knowledge that the thought brings her as much quiet pleasure as it does I; that all is well with the world, she busy with hers, I busy in mine, but that at the ends of the week our paths will meet again, in however short or passing a meet. For this moment, at least, my world is in equilibrium, and contentedness is the warm yellow glow within my chest.
