epitome of incomprehensibility The person who called, who asked this, was from the Liberal Party of Quebec.

I stammered, "Uh, we don't want to give that information out over the phone, but have a good evening," and hung up.

We. Who's we? But an honest answer, which would have been beyond my mental powers at the moment, would have gone something like this:

"You can't. I'm voting for Quebec solidaire because I'm sick of the French vs. English thing on both sides. Conversely, Mom's voting for the Canadian Party of Quebec because she doesn't think you're doing enough for anglophones. Dad hasn't said who he's voting for - probably hasn't decided, but he seems content to make fun of both our choices. He *might* vote for you. Not my brother, though - he always votes Green. You'll probably win this riding anyway, so I don't see what you're worried about. But but, no offense! If the CAQ had any chance of winning here, I'd probably vote for you. So, uh, take comfort in that, maybe?"
