tramp PeeT sharon van ettan's new record is streaming @npr allsongs until feb. 7. 120204 ... raze i think i've been undervaluing this album a little. pulled it out for another listen a few days ago, and i went from really liking a few songs and being somewhat bored by the rest, to liking pretty much the whole thing. "epic" still hits harder and cuts deeper, for a few different reasons ("love_more" is one of them), but there are some good things here, and sharon has one of those voices, like chan marshall's, that can transform a just-okay song into something better than it has any right to be. i could listen to her sing street signs. 131106 what's it to you? who go blather from
