see_and_be_seen
raze the windshield wipers were doing their steady boom clap. the boom was a move to the left, making a sound just like a kick drum, deep and heavy. the clap was a move to the right. the sound it made wasn't much of a clap. more of a swish. but "boom swish" doesn't carry the same gravitas.

a yard_sale rained out. countless tarps on small tables. horses, brown and white, not noticing or caring about the rain, or keeping it to themselves if they did. kids on bicycles, their shirts made dark and heavy, their hair slick. and a sign on the street saying this, flashing these words and one other forgotten phrase on an unending loop.

see and be seen.

epitome of incomprehensibility (This is seriously beautiful. It's hard to evoke both sound and images but you nailed it.) 170701

raze thanks so much! that means a lot. it was one of those afternoons where you're out doing things, and it's raining, and everything feels kind of cinematic, you know?

also, "euphony is the best pigeon" is my favourite phrase in the english language at the moment.
