running_shoes
raze back in my school days, i had a thing for new white running shoes. i thought they were the greatest. i thought they were so great, when i had them i felt evil for wearing them, because i didn't want their newness to fade, to be overtaken by dirt and grass stains and general wear and tear. i got over that fast, and ran and played with the best of them. but each time my shoes were new and white and perfect again, the feeling would return.

i haven't had a new pair of running shoes in eons. maybe it's time.

flowerock I refuse to buy white shoes for this reason. But I understand the feeling... most recently my new running shoes are a bright aqua blue... now less bright, stained with coffee and bicycle grease and mud. So it goes, that's what shoes are for! 141011

raze bright aqua blue shoes! that's awesome. i just wear black shoe-boots now, good for all seasons and mostly indifferent to dirt. 141011
