nannies
nr i had a few of these growing up. i realized later how lucky my parents were to be in the position to hire these people. when i was about 7-10ish, we had the nanny that made me eat honey. despite that, i loved her.

when i was about 5-6, we had our first nanny. she weirdly just thought i was lying about everything. i remember having a friend over for lunch and she spilled her orange juice, but the nanny told me not to lie and that she knew it was me. i remember being confused at that for the most part. she also didn't believe me when i said my ankle hurt, and that night i was admitted to the hospital for cellulitis in that ankle. some people should really not work with children. also some people are a bitch.

nanny #3 was the last nanny we had; she mostly looked after my little sister. but she was always ruffling our hair and saying how cute we were, and serving us food that i'd find delicious now, but back then we found gross and hid under the stairs in our unfinished basement.
