on the back lawn, ran luminous
through bent branches; threw

a wish, disowned the shadows.
i begged for erasure, for renewal
at the doorway, eyes cast upward.

i feel relief


when i am this synced with the moon
i feel the menace
in the waxing fullness
the vibrating potential
of the secrets we all told ourselves
when the sky was completely dark
moonless

the tug of all the water
in this body
as the gravity of the tides
increases with the
size visible to us
my power for destruction
increases with the
size visible to us


the power of the sadhana
is different with the waning
like i am calling out
'dont forget me
i will wait for you'
this place where i live
not a home
because the other dwellings
the mountain
block the moon
from my view

(maybe this place
is sharpening my other senses
my feeling
my tasting
my smelling)
