tender_square the notion doesn't exist. you can't take an existing colour and dab it onto blemishes. it's like concealer in that way, the shade is never really right and it highlights what's trying to be hidden more than anything. they did a shit job around the window frame, streaks of white obvious beside the grey. then, there's the wall that had been hidden under wallpaper that'll never match the original. colour fades with time. the water in the paint will never be at the same percentage it was when bonded to fresh wall. i will have to take a roller and travel it from end to end, baseboard to ceiling, repaint the whole thing. the variation of the fourth wall will be slight, but i'll notice it. i'll always notice it. 230221
