random_footstools
raze i should have started documenting these years ago, in nr's honour. not that there have been many of them. but i've seen a few.

better late than not at all, i hope.

today: on the left shoulder of kildare road, beside an old chair that was leaning toward the shape of a lawson, a battered brown leather storage ottoman drew warmth from a fervent sun and longed for someone's stockinged feet to dent its skin again.

nr i feel the warmth in this footstool description; i hope the stool finds its feet (footing? feeting?).

the dedication to the documentation of random_footstools in any form is always appreciated.

raze i think that first footstool had a child. it's the spitting image of its mother. 240916

raze my neighbour has had one resting on the railing of his deck all day. either he's airing it out to chase away an unpleasant smell, or he thinks that's where it's supposed to go. and if that's the case, i want to see how this seating arrangement plays out. 250928

nr i got so excited when i saw this in the recent list. thank you for your dedicated reporting on this subject. 250928
