epitome of incomprehensibility "Up and in" - in the last Narnia book, when one of the characters (Tumnus?) compared the afterlife to an onion. An onion whose rings keep getting bigger the farther you go in.

Reading it years later, it made me think of vaginas... and the Wizard of Oz scene where Dorothy clicks her ruby slippers to go back home. Something to that effect.
