The Blame Game, Going Backwards: I nearly broke her nose; I didn't mean to. She stole my book; she didn't mean to. I did worse, but I can claim it's because of my background. I was badly influenced by The Hunger Games. But background: I was better off saying goodbye to HIM; his distant relatives killed my distant relatives and would have like TOTALLY genocided my poor little cousin who looked like Primrose Everdeen in a dream I just had. And if he insists genocide isn't a transitive verb, I must remember that the expression "grammar nazi" would be considered culturally insensitive, und so weider. In the meantime, Canadian author Trevor Ferguson declares eternal war against semicolons. Let's blame the semicolons.
