raze for the better part of three decades, deanna dikeman took a picture of her parents as she drove away from their burgundy bungalow. what began as a random impulse became a ritual. like most rituals, it accrued more meaning with the passage of time, until raising the camera in the act of leaving was as natural and necessary as breathing.
