fruit_salad
raze when i was a kid, sometimes we would take whatever fruit we had lying around the apartmentbananas, oranges, apples, grapes, maybe a kiwi or twocut it into bite-size pieces, chuck it in a serving bowl, and drench it in chocolate syrup. i think my favourite thing about it was the way that darker sweetness accented the orange slices. few things in my life have tasted so perfect. these_days i prefer to eat my fruit au naturale, but every once in a great while i'll get an inexplicable craving for that glorious disaster of a snack we used to cobble together on nights like this, when hunger was little more than a pretty lie we told ourselves to stay awake a little longer. 240505
