escherange
flux Our school gathers the children of two small villages ESCHERANGE and MOLVANGE which are located close to VOLMERANGE_the_Mines.

These villages existed already at the beginning of the Christian era and played a rather significant role at the time Gallo-Roman since a Roman way led CARANUSA (HETTANGE_GRANDE) to the Country_high. This way still exists and is called the "KEMET"; it connects ESCHERANGE to MOLVANGE.

The current names date from the Revolution.

These villages knew many destruction. The last goes up with the Second World War; ESCHERANGE was entirely shaven. Only a house remained intact. MOLVANGE kept its old mill, its vault and a score of houses.

ESCHERANGE was rebuilt in the years 1650, the town hall-school in 1954 and the church in 1962.
