Again! 041222 ... tender_square there was only one house here on this cul-de-sac, i'm sure of it. i can picture a two-story cottage with purple and grey siding. it had a black metal screen door. there may have even been black bars over the lower windows, a detail that struck me as odd considering the large estates in the area. there was a paved driveway. the lot had been cleared and the house stamped smack dab in the middle, surrounded on two sides by provincial prairie. a fenced-off pipeline for union gas sat on another side and then a gravel road was out front. the place had been for sale months ago. now the area is entirely bare. there are no scars in the earth, no debris to be found. no proof that what i recall had ever been here. it's all lush green grass. a lot that is meticulously trimmed. but by who? 231001 what's it to you? who go blather from
