epitome of incomprehensibility Not a grammar_nitpick, but idiom-skepticism: why is downhill bad, metaphorically? Isn't going downhill generally pleasanter than going uphill?? (Trust me, I was just biking_in_the_rain uphill.)

But I guess the "up = positive" and "down = negative" metaphors are ingrained in the English imagination. It's all anyhill from here.
