raze the road beside the thicker road is gonna make my head explode, and all the miles my feet have known ain't gonna miss me when they're grown. i need a path that weaves. something that spirals and rambles and snakes. not a chain of concrete islands divided by morsels of curb and contraction joints. give me a trail that's never known what it is to be broken, and i will semaphore my highest hopes and all my worst intentions, bruising my breastbone to bleed myself dry. 220421
