raze i was sure this morning's rain wouldn't do a thing to kick against the heat. i was wrong. in a day or two the air will hang thick and heavy, slowing down my body and mind without denting time's derisive sprint. the gas that guards my oxygen can gloat all it wants. right_now summer's doing a fine imitation of spring. even the insects seem grateful. 220706
