raze our sad stab at soundproofing is falling apart. after keeping it together for four years, give or take a season, everything wedged into the window that gets the worst of the world outside has grown as weary of the low_flying_planes and the idling trains and the hideous air horns and street racing and sawing and banging and boredom barking as i have, and now the taped tarp of polyethylene and the cartwheeling cushion that once softened the seat of a chair i don't get to sit in anymore are casting off their shackles and shouting in a shared voice only i can hear: enough. 260623
