raze now you can no longer comment on anything unless you already have, or agree to generate, a google+ account. way to force longtime users to get in bed with your new cover-hogging friends, where they'll have no choice but to let yet another social networking platform leech all their personal data and spread it who knows where, sharing it with who knows who. as if facebook didn't do enough in that department already.

well done, youtube. it's good to see you doing your part to make the internet a little more soulless and less interesting, one hunk of bullshit at a time.

epitome of incomprehensibility Far, far too easy to waste time on.

TVTropes and blather can be time-wasters, too, but at least there and here I usually learn something.

About the changes, I remember I had to resubmit my profile picture (which isn't myself, it's still a flower with a lightning bolt - inspired by some Dylan Thomas poem or something.) But I don't plan to be socially networking anyway. If anything's soulless it's the expression "social networking"...

Then again, how do you know I'm not a cartoon flower brought to life by a lightning bolt?

My mind reminds me: "the force that through the green fuse drives the flower." And I had to consult Almighty Google for that. I was thinking "draws the flower."

But a genius never makes mistakes. His errors are portals to discovery.

Google corrects me: "A man of genius makes no mistakes; his errors are volitional and are the portals of discovery."

e_o_i And I have no idea how they're doing the comments sorting. Evidently it's too "smart" for me, volitional error genius that I am (the second quote was James Joyce, not Dylan Thomas, by the way - conceited bastard, but I kind of admire his chutzpah.) 131109

epitome of incomprehensibility I can symphonize with what flowerock wrote on "facebook"... every couple of weeks or so go on a YouTube binge, and then I feel silly after because I'm not being even superficially social.

I start off with good intentions, like listening to some more of Alexina Louie's piano music, or finding someone else like that British teenager who made a surprisingly good amateur rap video and then writing a comment defending him from a heckler who criticized the colour of his car... but then I just overdose on pop music and comedy sketches and false controversies and things by the FineBrothers who have too many channels. Et cetera ad nauseam.

e_o_i This thing keeps stealing all of the attention I supposedly don't have.

(Petition to get ADHD renamed Attention Regulation Disorder, or at least Attention Dysregulation Disorder if you want to keep the ADD or at least confuse the dyslexics with a little dys/dis and it's not their fault because oh my dislocated dyspepsia why is English so inconsistent.)
