raze i used to think it was a tumor. but i would never die.

now i think it was more along the lines of some kind of low-level psychic pain. like if spiderman suffered from a crippling headache every time he sensed something bad was about to happen, and found himself impotent in the face of danger, and all the warnings were useless because there was never anything specific about any of them.

my spidey sense would usually start tingling when things were as close to stress-free as they ever got. preparation for future pain. that's what it was.

see, even brains have training wheels. it just takes a long time before those things break off. and then you trip over them, and there's a whole new kind of pain to deal with when you hit the ground.

at least we're all on the same level when we're crawling around on our hands and knees.
