it's been snowing here for days that feel like months that feel like years. for a while i couldn't even leave my friend's house; we were all snowed in. and in the morning we got bowls of snow and covered it in maple syrup and raspberry sauce and played in the snow and collapsed and watched piles of movies. it was great to have winter. but now there's just piles and piles of snow everywhere, and rain is falling, and slush makes everything soggy. when i look out the window, i don't see the shining icicle trees and pure white blanket of snow anymore; everything has a brown-gray tint. and i can't wait until it is summer.
