51 Q 51 is a number that will live in infamy. 51 was the number of the x-ray photo of type B DNA that was taken by Rosalind Franklin and then surreptitiously taken from her and given to Watson and Crick. They used Franklin's Photo 51 to guide them to the basic structure of DNA. They should have given her the credit she deserved for her contribution to the discovery of that structure. They should have included her as a co-author with them on the 1953 "Nature" paper in which they first described the structure.
