aM i DiStUrBeD? Ever wish that you could do something to change the world? I don’t just mean "Hey I'll go kill the president of the United States!! I think that that will maybe make a difference.” Will it? Yeah. But I don’t just mean going out and killing someone or even looking after your sick Grandma, no I mean really changing the world.

Remember when you were little and your mum asked youHoney, what do you want to be when you grow up?” and you would sit there and think and say something likeI want to be a racing car driver!” orI want to be David Beckham!” or evenI want to be Queen, Queen of the world!!”. Well what would you be if you could be something rather like the latter of the dream jobs? “Bob Smith: Curer of cancerorJoan Brown: The woman who destroyed poverty”; do you get what I am aiming at?

Well chances are you probably don’t. But I was just thinking, if you could do this, would anyone be brave enough to venture forward on unstable legs and sayHey! I am Bob! I will be the first to endeavour to save a very little but significant event that makes up this world as we know it!” Would anyone actually do that? Or if you could would people possibly use their power for evil rather than good? Ok, I suppose what I may be getting at is, is just doing the little things any use anymore? Is digging your neighbour’s garden enough? So, they aren’t earth shattering stuff, but yeah it helps, I guess.

Rather than sitting back and letting global warming happen, can one person do something that will cure it? No. But will most of the population of the world trying to do something save us from the clasp of global shut down? I don’t know. Maybe I am blabbering, or I should sayblatheringon aimlessly; but am I? Can anyone at all that is out there really help to save this planet, or are we all just going to saunter by with a quick glance whilst the politicians and world rulers tell usMove along now! Nothing to see here!”

gja One day in el Paso the cops move into the crowd. Under a throbbing bladder of light, and the music is just so loud.
And the tourists take their t-shirts off, and a bus load of kids gives you th finger.

REAListic optimIST I have had the privilege on a few occasions of feeling that my actions were a part of something that could change the world. Just those few fleeting glimpses have been enough impetus to keep me pushing and searching for ways to find that brilliance and clarity once again. I suppose that belief stems from the latter half of my blather name. 070728

sameolme I don't ask; "What would Jesus do?"; I ask,
"What am I doing?"

There is no time to make excuses, our world is precious and in peril.

What are you doing??
