I was completely obsessed with jonathan brandis in middle school. I watched Seaquest religiously... LoL... such a loser!
I'm just in total shock that it was not my unique sickness, but that there appears to have been an epidemic.... wow. I feel so connected.

my aunt used to be in love with jonathan. she had his pictures covering every inch of her room and would get upset if someone messed up his name. she tapes seaquest every week and made me watch it with her when i came over. the only things i liked him were the neverending story and ladybugs.

I was slightly suprised and a little saddened by the news. My early teen years of sci-fi and "It" addiction would not have been what they were without him. This person/celebrity I never knew may not have left a big impression on my life, but there was some impression left none the less.
Fondly remembered.

I'm curious about what drove him to do it. I mean, I don't intend to sound cold and insensitive, but how hard can your life be when you're a known actor who can find work and who has a regular following? Is it the pressure to keep performing, the pressure to maintain some artificial image, or what? It's not like he couldn't have paid the bills or taken care of other people or do what most people who don't have a checking account like his would like to do. He had years of working and acting ahead of him and he just gave up. I just don't get it.
I guess that's just the way it is with celebrities. I'm sorry if I've offended any of you.

He's dead! Not just dead he killed himself!!!!
He'd been on my mind a lot w/ in this past month for some reason and so out of curiosity I'd decided to see what had happened to him seeing as how he'd dropped off media radar, witch to be honest I thought quite surprising seeing as how he was such a teen heart throb, I mean he was SOOOOO much bigger then Sam from Whos The Boss who is now in Charmed Any was - I just always thought that their would be something more for him and then I find out that he committed Suicide on the 11th of this month, and he didn’t even leave a note or anything behind! Know one really even seems to know WHY he did it! I know that I may seem like I'm overreacting it's just that I'm just so completely SHOCKED!
