frAnk your plan to go to grad school in california is exciting. i wish you all the best. i made the trip twice back and forth and it is very cool to watch the country change, scenery as well as people and culture.

and if you can establish a 6 months residency out there, you can possibly go to school for "free."

what did you get your degree in? what do you hope to do down the road?

florescent light I have my BS in Psychology
I plan on pursuing my PsyD (psychology doctorate).
It's a fairly new program, they didn't have PsyD's when my professors were in grad school.
It's the same has a PhD, only the focus is more on clinical work, as opposed to the PhD's main focus being research.

I will someday have my own practice. Psychology is definitely a passion of mine, but I have an abundance of other interests as well. I don't want to limit myself to just one. So, this is the road that I am taking, but I am not out ruling any of those side streets along the way. Who knows where I will end up?

I don't know what school I'm planning on attending. I have yet to apply. Depending on where I go to school, that's where I will live in California.
