it's such a shame that iowa has to take the blame for that whole year. especially when it was in the quad_cities, so illinois should own up to its part in it as well.
yes, backwards, slow paced, and boring. but honest to the bone, beautiful in amazing subtleties. more real than the dances of the west or the hurry of the east. the smell of cows and corn, the sunsets that paint the whole huge sky.
