kingsuperspecial LINE THEM UP:

gentle breath beside you in the night

the strand of hair you move off a gentle face

soft small kisses on the cheekbone or base of the neck

holding pinky fingers in the movies

silly note left secretly in the morning

surprise anonymous email greeting cards

the hint of someone on a still warm pillow or borrowed t-shirt

not caring that there is nothing to do

the catch in your mind hearing a voice on the phone

a hug from behind in the kitchen making dinner

coffee in bed and a mid morning tussle

eyes met across a room knowing what will happen at home

planning a meal to cook and serve with care

handing the first towel to the other wet body

silent moments where everything unsaid is known

Line them up, hammer them hard
And seal the coffin forever
Swing high
And from the heart
cold is coming

sheryl
living in a coffin can get pretty chilly from what I hear
scary too- they're bats and spiders and creepy crawly bugs
that eat you!
and bite holes in your skin!
where they dig deep inside
and burrow through
they trickle up your nose and down your lungs, quickly scampering into your stomache
all that food makes them produce babies
so now they're many many, zillions and trillions of creepy crawly flesh eating slimy hairy organisms who eat people- all living inside your stomache.
you can borrow my fuzzy electric blanket.

it'll keep you warm
