dB Question of S'Bob:

Mr Bob, you have rapidly climbed the social ladder of Blather, and in some ways have become a celebrity and respected writer on the board.
How has this fast rise to fame effected you in your daily life?

silentbob its made it so that i only go to blather to look at really important things.
it used to be a daily diet. but im busy a lot of times anymore, and i only go to check out a few things, or to type something really meaningful to me.

what else ya got?

silentbob music to me is the whimsical expressino of the heart, mind, soul, body, and dik dik.

you dont know what a dik dik is?

the lyrics to the music are the story, the helpers.

lyrics (obviously) are very important to me.

frAnk what do you look for in lyrics? what constitutes them as being well written? 010417

silentbob Wit
Clever but not to the point of cheesiness
Irony is good
Symbolism
stuff that flows nicely like the music

lately ive been appreaciating sentimental lyrics, like actual phsycial things in the poetry about specific material items.

"Cordless Razor that my father bought when i turned seventeen. Puke green Sofa and the outline to a complicated dream of dignity"

Red Bank Bandit Green Arrow is looking up. Kevin Smith rescued Daredevil...he's a great guy, too. One time, I was fortunate enough to be in Red Bank NJ and walked into Jay & Silent Bob's secret stash. And I'll be darned if Kevin Smith wasn't in there working!!! This was the week that Darkness #13 came out. He stopped to autograph some stuff for some kids...I like Kevin Smith. 010418

frAnk there are men and women too gentle to live among wolves who have been joyfully willing to make the excruciating journey to barren lands where nothing grows and there plant a seed and a marker for all mankind. there are men and women who in their strength have broken the constricting bonds of time eternal, who see the children clutching to their mother's breast, and on bended knee give thanks for life alone. there are men and women in their knowledge and wisdom are courageous enough to abdicate the dividing throne of power to immerse themselves in the tears of those who feel.

these are my heroes.

frAnk jello biafra, dead kennedys, spoken word artist, a man who cannot be oppressed, who did not grow out of his rebellion phase, who did not abandon punk when it became out of fashion, a man who will not conform.

how has he influenced your own life?

silentbob I never thought about a lot of things before i heard his spoken word stuff. I never really thought about censorship and government and all that stuff and certain social behavoirs, and why you should embrace being different if it really is who you are. and by the time i got done listening to his spoken word i thought, "Yah! He's right! Gee golly willickers!" 010422

silentbob a lot of people say to me, "You can't have silentbob as your internet weirdo name because you talk too much."
and i always get annoyed and accuse them of buggery and its usually quite the rah.

Those people might say to you, "you can't have insecure goth girl as your internet nickname because you pay people compliments, and insecure goth girls don't pay people compliments because they are afraid of rejection."

but i don't say that to you, because i think you're cool
