home, i thought, might be a good place to go. i could surprise my mom and my little sister (who is home and safe, regardless of the dreams_to_wake_to) by calling them from the stop nearest home and asking them to come pick me up (forty five minutes away) and then taking them out for dinner, and saying 'happy belated birthday!' to them in the restuarant... i got to the bus stationi little before 3am, hoping to either catch a late or early bus, got my tickets, and was promptly kicked out of the terminal.. i would have been there sooner, but i worked 2pm-2am. got home at 3.30, slept for three hours, forgot to get out of bed, lay in a daze for another two, and then took a city bus back to the terminal, arriving to see that a bus to toronto would be coming soon. waited in that long annoying toronto line until finially i gave my tickets to the bus driver. 'this bus doesnt go to peterborough anymore' he said. 'terminal one sir' said the attendant. instead of cutting down the transcanada and then heading south to lake ontario and following the 401, the route was now due south to the 401, cutting out my stop completely from the 15 daily toronto routes, that used to carry it. i had four hours to wait. i live half an hour away. and now, after getting another city bus, im on campus typing this. from 15 times a day to 3! there are still 8 from peterborough to toronto and visa versa, but peterborough to ottawa three! argh. i cant make it home this weekend (my weekend atleast), mom, sorry, ive missed to many classes, can't miss more, and i want to be home for more than 10 hours before having to head back to catch another bus. sorry gina, we'll see eachother soon, one more week and ill get that 8.30 bus, i promise dear sister.
