stork daddy the human heart is tonal. music is made for its benefit. sometimes we must know the difference between progress and a dissolving sea change. the same intellectuals who want crazy music want to clone humans and mutilate babies. actually i think mutilating babies and cloning humans is well within the tonal range of the human heart.

perhaps a single note can be atonal. although to negate the usual relationship there must be a broad range across which that usual relationship is un-established. tonality seems to be based on the subjective abilities of the listener.

it's much like the poetry of sylvia plath, it is somewhat cold. literally and figuratively it is a prelude to a suicide, to dissolution.

the answers of the intellect may be in many ways unknowable, but the answers of the heart are there, and the main answer is love. music should engender this, and dance with the one that brought it.
