If it's a small auditorium or just a classroom it'd be okay but anything bigger would probably freak me out. It wasn't that I didn't like giving speeches (but I didn't) or that I couldn't ('cause I could) or that I was afraid ('cause I wasn't) but it was the teacher and her methods. I have an A speech everytime, because I was completely confortable in front of people, not intimidated, but I got a D+ in the class because for every speech you had to have an outline done in a certain way. She gave you a template to work with. Basically a fill in the blank with your information. I even did this. Then typed word for word what it said. But still, I indented wrong here, or spaced to moany times here, and underlined where I should have bolded. little stupid things that caused over half the class to fall in that D range. I'm usually an A B student, as were the rest of the D'ers, but she had so many quirks and hang ups it was impossible to control. If you were to ask me now, I would choose public speaking, because I passed it. It you would ask me if I failed, I would say death.
