to your question:
i am not at all spiritual so the concept of gods is entirely aesthetic to me. note that the name of this blathe is CURRENT_favourite_god. my favorite color also changes frequently.

that said, i will also say that i am fascinated by religiosity as a phenomenon. i cannot understand it emotionally, so i have made an effort to understand it intellectually. i read quite a lot about belief systems in general and about specific deities as well.

lastly, referring to any deity as minor or marginal because few or no people believe in them, seems a bit arrogant. people put faith (past or present) in these fictions (from my point of view). what makes one imaginary friend more valid than another? they were all at one time the center of peoples lives. what makes them marginal? lack of demographic support? that is like saying that the macarena is better than a mediaeval madrigal. i try to respect peoples choices, while still allowing myself to disagree with them. 		080925
