reggie I just finished reading Glamorama. It blew me away. I dont know how he can top it. It seemed to be the culmanation of all his books so far. i do hope he writes something else soon though. 010809

ever dumbening u24,

when i was in china in 97, i read american psycho and wasp factory, one after the other. wasp factory is a definite top ten for me. the ellis offering, however, just left me confused and depressed. dense, dark, great imagery, though. the question i kept asking after american psycho was, can a book like this be pulled off, and did ellis do that? i still don't know the answer. really, though, my whole point is the strange coincidence of you bringing up the banks on this blathe. read the bridge too, meh. but the w.f. was fucking rad!

u24 I've only actually flicked through american psycho, but what I saw seemed similar to the wasp factory, hence my bringing it up. Have you read walking on glass? or any other ian banks? 040316

iNsEcUrE_GoTh_GiRl this is one of my friends favourite authors.
he was telling me about the american psycho book - melting eyeballs and lighters etc.
he has also read the wasp factory. how coincidental of this blathe.
bjork is also in the recent blathes list, and that is one of his favourite singers.

i am so freaked out by the coincidences on blather.
