afi Once the boy who had vibrant glow, but as it goes, someone took it from him.
One day through the rain I heard him meekly moan, he said "Will you wrap your arms around me as I'm falling?" Remember when we were all so beautiful? But since then we've lost our glow. They said it hurt their eyes but he would never know that they were filled with regret as their own dissipated. He said, "I now feel more desperately alone, even though they wrapped their arms around me as I'd fallen." They said it hurt their eyes, but he would never know that they were claiming regret as their own...
as their own dissipated.

despite everyone's fears that they have "become big and sold out"
silentbob just because a band catches people's attention doesn't mean they sold out. we should tell them all! if they haven't been bought dispite their values, then they have not sold out. forshame. 001225
smiles The little toy dog is covered with dust,
But sturdy and stanch he stands;
And the little toy soldier is red with rust,
And his musket moulds in his hands.
Time was when the little toy dog was new,
And the soldier was passing fair;
And that was the time when our Little Boy Blue
Kissed them and put them there.

"Now, don't you go till I come," he said,
"And don't you make any noise!"
So, toddling off to his trundle-bed,
He dreamt of the pretty toys;
And, as he was dreaming, an angel song
Awakened our Little Boy Blue---
Oh! the years are many, the years are long,
But the little toy friends are true!

Ay, faithful to Little Boy Blue they stand,
Each in the same old place---
Awaiting the touch of a little hand,
The smile of a little face;
And they wonder, as waiting the long years through
In the dust of that little chair,
What has become of our Little Boy Blue,
Since he kissed them and put them there.
major tom oh no, not me

unhinged when i saw them at the warped tour no one would clap for them. it pissed me off. even the kids wearing afi t-shirts weren't clapping. and they played really well and deserved to be applauded for their efforts. the thing that i thought was cool was even though a lot of people were being assholes and not clapping the singer was nice and respectful to the crowd the whole time. i think afi is cool. 001229
